I met with Matt of FQCigars.com tonight and handed him an unbanded cigar for him to review just to get an unbiased blind test. He had no clue what it was...$1 house blend perhaps? How did it smoke? What did it taste like? We shall see! #CigarObsession #Video
FQ Phenom No.3 Robusto Cigar Review This 5×50 stick features a dark brown smooth oily firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and rich musty nut and leather aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good thick medium bodied smoke output showing flavors of a deep oily earth and black pepper without the zing or spice, followed by a long finish of the same. The first third burns quickly but very well, bringing body up to medium-full
This 5x50 cigar uses Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. On the first draw, it has a medium body and a perfect draw with a good deal of smoke. The flavors are a smooth earth and somewhat of a roasted note. Overall, this is a great cigar that had almost perfect construction and consistently good flavors. The earth got a little heavier and a sweetness came on at the end that added a nice touch. I see this as a perfect 1hr smoke
